Putaway Happy Path

The putaway happy path represents the ideal scenario where inventory is received, processed, and stored without issues or exceptions.

Note: Before any goods are put away, a manifest must already exist.

Steps

1. Operator uses personal credentials to log in

2. Choose the ‘Putaway’ workflow

3. Select the active bin type to work on

4. Scan Inbound TSU

5. Once scanned, AutoStore will bring a bin with at least one empty compartment to the port.

6. Scan Product

   Tip

   Any product ID or barcode of a product on the manifest will be allowed as input

7. Enter quantity and confirm

   Note

   On this screen the operator should validate the manifest and product details, place products in the highlighted compartment and enter the quantity placed using the input or -/+ buttons

8. If there is more stock to be put away, the next compartment will be presented for putaway, either a new bin, or another empty compartment with the same bin and the operator will repeat steps 5-7.

9. Once all the stock has been put away, and the operator presses confirm, the following prompt is presented to the operator Pressing Confirm will complete the manifest - at which point it will be deleted from the administrator app. In Voyager WMS, the putaway instruction associated with the TSU will be completed.
