WMS Admin AutoStore Management

The WMS Admin AutoStore Management system provides comprehensive tools and interfaces for managing Voyager WCS operations integrated with AutoStore systems.

When a warehouse uses an AutoStore system, additional software must be used to interact with the AutoStore API to allow operators to control the grid. The Voyager Warehouse Control System (WCS) does exactly that — it has a user interface to track operator interactions at the port and control the AutoStore on behalf of the operator, tracking inventory movements and stock levels. The system is designed to be flexible to suit any use case.

However, Voyager WCS also works seamlessly with Voyager Warehouse Management System (WMS) to provide a full warehouse and automation control system. The following pages also document additional functionalities provided by the WMS specifically for WCS usage.

The WMS Admin AutoStore Management system provides tools and interfaces for:

  • General AutoStore Management - Core configuration and operational settings including port configuration, task categories, and wave management
  • Outbound Operations - Pick task groups and work summary management for stock movement
  • Inbound Operations - Manifest and stock owner management for goods receipt
  • Inventory Management - Products, bins, and inspection workflows for stock control
  • Administrative Tools - Gateway request history and system utilities for operational support
  • WCS Workflows - Detailed operational workflows for Putaway, Pick, and Inspection processes
