WMS Admin Autostore Management
The WMS Admin Autostore Management system provides comprehensive tools and interfaces for managing Voyager WCS operations integrated with AutoStore systems.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”When a warehouse uses an AutoStore system, additional software must be used to interact with the AutoStore API to allow operators to control the grid. In our M2 warehouse, this software is provided by Element Logic and is called E-Manager. Our Voyager Warehouse Management System integrates with this to provide information regarding manifests and shipments as well as stock.
Voyager Warehouse Control System (WCS) is system software that integrates directly with Autostore and Voyager WMS in a similar way as E-Manager in M2. It is built independently to Voyager WMS and continues to be improved to be flexible enough for other use cases without Voyager WMS to potentially be sold as a combined product with Autostore for clients to integrate with directly.
Currently THG New Jersey 2 Warehouse is the only warehouse actively running on Voyager WCS.
WMS Admin Capabilities
Section titled “WMS Admin Capabilities”The WMS Admin Autostore Management system provides tools and interfaces for:
- General Autostore Management - Core configuration and operational settings including port configuration, task categories, and wave management
- Outbound Operations - Pick task groups and work summary management for stock movement
- Inbound Operations - Manifest and stock owner management for goods receipt
- Inventory Management - Products, bins, and inspection workflows for stock control
- Administrative Tools - Gateway request history and system utilities for operational support
