Port Activity
The Port Activity Page gives an overview of what activity is ongoing at the ports. It is designed to allow senior management to monitor all or selected workflow users and their activity.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”This page shows Port IDs, which workflow port is assigned to, user that is currently working on the given port and time elapsed since last activity of a given user. Last activity is defined as any scan or input that has been done by the user. Activity is measured in seconds and then minutes, which allows Senior Management team to see user actions.
Activity Information
Section titled “Activity Information”Port Status Fields
Section titled “Port Status Fields”- Port ID: Physical port identifier
- Workflow: Current workflow type assigned to the port
- Username: User currently working on the given port
- Last Activity: Time elapsed since last user activity (measured in seconds/minutes)
Last activity is defined as any scan or input performed by the user, allowing senior management to monitor user engagement and productivity.
Key Actions
Section titled “Key Actions”Search and Filter
Section titled “Search and Filter”- Search Bar: Search for specific Port ID, Workflow, or Username
- Filter: Filter by Port IDs, Workflows, Username, and Last Activity
- Hide/Show Columns: Customise displayed columns based on user preferences
Keep the search bar empty to see the default view of all ports.
Export Data
Section titled “Export Data”Download displayed data in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format.
Port Management Actions
Section titled “Port Management Actions”Log Out User
Section titled “Log Out User”To log out a user from a port:
- Ensure the user isn’t actively working on the port (both systemically and physically)
- Select the relevant port (selected ports show with a black box)
- Press the Port Actions button
- Press Log out the selected user
Reset Port
Section titled “Reset Port”To reset a port:
- Follow the same steps as logging out a user
- Press Reset the selected port instead of log out
Important Safety Warning: Take extra caution when pressing ‘log out user’ or ‘reset port’ buttons. When these buttons are pressed, the bin currently on the port will be taken away. It is critical that:
- No one is working on the bin
- The operator is away from the port when the button is pressed
Monitoring Capabilities

Operational Oversight

- Monitor port utilisation across the facility
- Track user productivity and activity patterns
- Identify ports requiring intervention
- Manage stuck or unresponsive ports
- Ensure operational efficiency
Usage Guidelines
Section titled “Usage Guidelines”Regular Monitoring
Section titled “Regular Monitoring”- Navigate to WMS Admin > General Autostore Management > Port Activity
- Review current status of all ports
- Monitor last activity times to identify inactive users
- Check for any ports requiring management intervention
- Use search/filter functions to focus on specific areas of concern
User Management
Section titled “User Management”- Monitor user activity levels throughout shifts
- Identify users who may need assistance or training
- Track activity patterns for resource planning
- Manage user sessions during shift changes

Emergency Procedures

- Use reset function only when certain no active work is occurring at the port
