Port Configuration Interface

The Port Configuration interface allows administrators to configure physical ports where operatives work within the Autostore system. Each port can be configured with specific task categories, content codes, and printer assignments.

  • Port ID: Unique identifier for each physical port (1, 2, 3, etc.)
  • Content Code: Bin types that will be requested from the Autostore for putaway (see Content Codes for more information)
  • Pick Task Category: Which pick tasks are available to operatives using the port. Pick task categories are defined on the Pick Category page.
  • Inspection Task Category: Types of inspection tasks available to operatives using the port
  • Printer ID: ID of the printer attached to the specific port

Three different inspection task categories are available:

  • Count: Inventory counting tasks
  • Investigation: Detailed inspection tasks
  • PI Check: Physical inventory verification
